Day 2 - Returning to Form and Routine
Though I missed yesterday's update, that was mostly on returning home and settling into my home set-up. There's a lot I wish to vent here but I can easily sum it up with: uncooperative relatives that think they have all the answers.
I have tend to have a short attention span and I use a timed session approach to studying, as in 45 minutes of pure study with 15 minutes break to whatever I please to keep my mind fresh. This has been doing wonders for my retention rate and making sure I don't cross the line with overwhelming my brain and making it sluggish.
What I can say to this and anyone going through it is: don't let those opinions bring you down and make you doubt yourself. Learn from the mistakes you've made and then consider other choices, not because outside forces tell you on arbitrary guidelines.
Carrying on, I do from 4 to 8 sessions a day but I despise leaving days that don't have at least three check-marks in the study tracker I set up every morning.
I just need to wake up earlier and get that habit going. In fact, I'm going to put a small blurb here of weekly goals every Saturday Post to keep myself in check.
Weekly Goal: Wake up at 8 am.
